The Hawkins Contura Black Pressure Cooker – 5 Litre is the largest standard size in the Contura Black range — a hard anodised, handi-shaped cooker designed for larger families of 5 to 7 people who want the Contura's performance advantages at a capacity that handles full family meals in a single cooking cycle. The body is hard anodised to 60 microns thickness inside and outside, creating a metallurgically transformed black surface that is scratch-proof, corrosion-resistant, and chemically inert — permanently part of the aluminium, not a paint or coating that can chip off. At 5 litres, this cooker handles large batches of rice, dal, rajma, chole, biryani, mutton, and other Indian staples that smaller cookers handle in two batches.
